Friday 11th November 2022

Monkey Park Community Cafe in Chesterfield hosted our inaugural Chesterfield SOUP event.

On the night, we raised £100 from door donations, in addition to money donated by our corporate sponsor for the evening Kakou Technologies.

We heard pitches from Ellie Scott of the Georgia Bird Foundation and Lorraine Hill of Singing with Nature. 

Ellie’s pitch was successful and was awarded £400 from SOUP to go towards GBF’s Christmas Carol concert; with Lorraine aso being awarded £100 to get her Singing with Nature project started.

Friday 8th September 2023

The DVA Hub on Low Pavements were our hosts for our second SOUP event.

The Georgia Bird Foundation Choir performed including a special preview of their new Baton of Hope Anthem.

Congratulations to Lunar Mind, who were near-unanimously awarded the grand funding prize of £400, congratulations also to Grassmoor Meet & Greet and Cannon Mill, who were awarded the follow up funding of £200 and £100 respectively.
